Primary Research Questionnaire Results

The graph shows that the audience of the magazine would be mostly male. However, it also shows that females also play a large role in the results, this therefore indicates that there would be a section for females as well as males.

16-21, seems to be the highest result according to the questionnaire results. However this is predicted due to the fact that the magazine is going to be made for college, which this environment has this main age.

From the results, it seems that the audience are willing to pay less than £1.49 for a college. But when researching other college magazines, it was revealed that the price would either free or a small donation in which the audience would pay for the upkeep of the magazine. So this means that the price would either be free or less than £1.00

The typography is one of the main elements in which the audience relates to. The styles in which the typography is written in, will enhance the look of the front cover. By introducing styles such as bold or italics the audience will recognise the identity of the magazine. From the results either bold or italics will be used.

Due to high demand Music and lifestyle articles would be included into the magazine. As most of the audience is into music, articles on music would play a large role in the configuration of articles, However, because the magazine is aimed at a both males and females all of the articles which have been chosen would feature in the magazine.

To conclude,  the masthead of the magazine was chosen to be The FC. Linking in the Farnham College name, the magazine would be in direct correlation with the magazine, ensuring the reader can clearly identify the relationship with the college and the students.

Summary

From the questionnaire results that I have gathered, reveal that the target audience of The FC magazine would be 16-21 focusing more on males, with the interest in music and preferably the price of the magazine to be cheapest it possibly can.
